Q2 Debrief

Building the apps was the real curriculum. The most valuable lesson was not any single app. It was learning which types of apps are not worth building. Mindset apps and database apps did not earn their keep. The apps that consistently delivered were the deliverable apps, the ones that produce something I actually ship.

  • Business Validation P&L app: not useful. Turned off.
  • Finalize "What To Do" app: done, and it evolved. The real value migrated into deliverables living in other places. That was the win.
  • Finishing all the deliverables is still a 3 to 6 month effort. The rock is done; the compounding is not.

Net: raise the bar for new apps. Default to deliverable-producing systems, not mindset or database tooling.
